Something special came home in your Friday folder this week! Every student received a copy of the greeting card they created out of their poverty themed watercolour. They turned out amazingly well and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to share with the world while raising money for such a great cause. Please consider buying a set (or a two, or three...) of cards. 100% of the profits from the cards go straight to the Downtown Eastside Women's Centre. Lots of great stuff happening right now. Our poverty essays are almost done, our novel study projects are under way, and we are ready to start something new and great in social studies. And of course, Sports Day is on Friday!
