Wow! Wow! Wow! Today the class sat and listened to each other (27 students) recite their Gr. 7 speech. It was hot; it took hours, and it should have been torture, but it was amazing! Every single student shared a speech that was well written, personal, clear, and most importantly represented who they are as people. We had laughs, tears, and shared memories. I honestly think it was the best writing I've seen all year. The students then voted for their top 4, who will go onto the grade level finals on Monday. It was a super tough choice this year because they were truly exceptional. Well done all!
